Air-Fried Chicken Wings

Ingredients 

 

  • 5 split chicken wings (5 drumettes, 5 wingettes) ~ 475g
  • 1 Tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tsp rice wine
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup sweet potato starch
  • Cooking oil spray

 

 

1. Clean chicken wings, rinse, and dry them thoroughly. Then add rice wine, fish sauce, sugar, garlic powder, and black pepper into the bowl.

2. Mix everything well, ensuring all the seasonings are evenly distributed over the chicken wings.

3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to marinate.

4. Before cooking, add the sweet potato starch. Evenly coat each wings with a thin layer of starch.

5. Place the chicken wings in your air fryer basket and lightly spray them with cooking oil.

6. Set your air fryer to 400°F (~200°C) and air fry for 15 minutes.

7. Turn over the chicken wings and spray another coat of oil.

8. Air fry 400°F (~200°C) for another 9 minutes. Remove and serve.
