
Shrimp & Crab Stuffed Mushrooms
These Shrimp and Crab Stuffed Mushrooms are a simple, crowd pleasing appetizer perfect for any occasion. Juicy mushrooms are filled with a savory seafood mixture, topped with melted cheese, and baked until golden brown. You can easily swap in other seafood or meats or try different mushrooms like portobello or white button for a tasty variation.

Ingredients
- 15 baby bella mushrooms
- 70 g onion, diced
- 65 g bell peppers, diced
- 35 g celery, diced
- 15 g garlic, minced
- 300 g shrimp, diced
- 120 g lump crab meat, drained
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- ½ tsp dried basil
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- ⅓ cup Italian breadcrumbs
- ½ cup Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp avocado oil (for sautéing)
- 1 tbsp avocado oil (for greasing pan)
1. Dice the onion, celery, and bell pepper.

2. Mince the garlic and dice the shrimp into small pieces. |

3. Remove mushroom stems by gently twisting or popping them off. Use a paring knife to trim away the inner ring of each cap.

5. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Sauté onion, garlic, and bell pepper, then add diced mushroom stems and rings. Cook until softened. Remove from heat and set aside. |

7. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked shrimp(drained), cooked vegetables(drained), crab meat (drained), egg, Old Bay seasoning, dried basil, and mayonnaise. Mix well. |

8. Stir in breadcrumbs until evenly combined. |

9. Grease a baking pan with 1 tbsp oil. Stuff the mixture into mushroom caps. |

10. Sprinkle Monterey Jack cheese over each stuffed mushroom. |
